At the Centre for Industrial Relations and Human Resources Library, I worked on the pages for all of the faculty on the library’s Focus On Research website. Focus on Research is a site that is meant to show off the publication and presentation histories of the faculty at the University of Toronto, similar to the site academia.edu/, but also connects to the University of Toronto library catalogue to assist researchers looking to access publications. My work included going through hundreds of existing records to make corrections, and adding hundreds of missing entries. Each work is given a web page, and loosely follows APA citation formatting. This work required the kind of attention to detail similar to cataloguing, working independently, and working with faculty. As a result of my work, the Industrial Relations and Human Resources group is one of the top five groups on the website, despite having much less faculty than the larger groups ahead of it.
